GESPC Boot Camp: Foundations and Fundamentals of GESPC
A veritable “boot camp” providing the principles of what has made GESPC a reliable resource when the lessons of the
past are applied to the needs of today. ESC trainers will cover the entire GESPC process from project inception through
measurement and verification (M&V) during this workshop. An optional free webinar will be offered prior to the
conference to present an introduction to the elements of GESPC.

Since its inception as a means of procurement and financing, GESPC projects have undergone considerable change in the way they document and illustrate the savings achieved. Representatives of ESC Energy Stewardship Champion state programs present in this session highlighting successful state GESPC programs. Champion states are recognized by the ESC for their outstanding GESPC programmatic design, leadership by elected officials, and private sector investment in projects. Presenters will share lessons learned in the development and operation of a successful state program that provides technical assistance and oversight to end-users engaging in the GESPC process.
